Early Years funded places available to children who are 3-4 years old. Little People Montessori Group provides a prepared Montessori environment in which the children are free to explore and choose at their own pace. Led by a Qualified Primary Teacher, the children are guided through the sessions to explore what interests them. They will receive tuition in all of the six of the early learning goals, but in keeping with a true Montessori Method.
The children will also learn, when they are ready, Jolly Phonics and they will be free to take home reading books as well. The day will be structured in the style of a school nursery and a typical day might be as follows:
9:30am Circle Time and Register
9:40am Montessori Time
10:20am Healthy Snack
10:30am Outdoor Classroom, weather permitting
11:00am Montessori Time
12:00pm Healthy Lunch Time
12:30pm Rest
1:30pm Group Activity, singing or music and movement
