Little People Montessori Group have the use of a two large classrooms, the hall, an office, playground and fields. We also have a lovely and large outdoor classroom complete playground markings, sand, easel, bikes and balls. We are currently working with Heathfield Primary School on further developing our outdoor area which will include the use of the Heathfield Nursery playground. We will also have a stage, writing area and playhouse September 2008.
We currently have 30 0-5 year olds on roll and have a great time everyday. Our manager Emma, is a highly qualified Early Years Educator and is currently training with the Montessori Centre International. Our Deputy Manager Katherine, is Team Leader for the Preschool whilst Debra is our baby specialist. Katherine and Emma are both currently working towards their Level 4 and their Montessori Foundation Certificate.
We provide breakfast club and afterschool club for children from Heathfield, St. Theresa’s, Whinfield, Abbey, St. John’s, Firthmoor, Harrowgate, and Springfield. The out of school children have access to a range of activities every night including sport, art and craft and computers. If you do not see your school listed, let us know. We may be able to cater to your school too!
This location is excellent for parents working for Orange, in the primary school and in the town centre. We are located within Heathfield Primary School and can be found at the back of the school near the school nursery.
